How does sedation dentistry work? Depending on your preference,\u00a0Dr. Barganier, Dr. Zuffi, Dr. Williams, and Dr. McAdams<\/a> will give you medication before or during your treatment. Although you will not be asleep during the procedure, the sedatives will help relieve your anxiety and put you into a relaxed, comfortable state. Local anesthetic shots will still be necessary, but you\u2019ll hardly notice them or any of the dental work going on. Just make sure you have a friend or family member to drop you off and pick you up.<\/p>\n
