Advanced Dental Technology Goose Creek
You Deserve the Best. We Provide It!

We’ve spared no expense when it comes to equipping our office with the latest and greatest dental technology out there. Our CAD/CAM software, 3D imaging, and CEREC in-house milling machine allow us to streamline each of your appointments and plan every treatment down to the smallest detail. This allows you to enjoy the best, longest-lasting results possible. Browse our extensive list of advanced technology below, and if you have any questions, please give us a call.
CEREC Same-Day Technology & CAD/CAM 3D Imaging

CAD/CAM stands for “Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing,” and CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. These remarkable tools allow us to craft custom dental restorations, such as bridges, crowns, onlays, and inlays the same day you visit. Our dentists are able to create long-lasting, extremely precise restorations in-house, allowing them to oversee the entire process and make a once long and inconvenient process faster and more streamlined without sacrificing the quality of care.
Fotona Lightwalker® Soft Tissue Laser

Carolina Complete Dental has added the Fotona Lightwalker dental laser system to our technological lineup! Designed for dental perfectionists, the Lightwalker patented the QSP (quantum square pulse) mode, a feature that makes procedures like gum disease treatment more comfortable, faster, and yield better results. The laser can also be used in a variety of other treatments, including dental implant placement, root canals, and more.
CT/Cone Beam Scanner

Cone beam CT scanners bring a higher level of detail and precision to nearly every treatment we offer. All that’s required of our patients is placing your chin on a small pedestal and having the scanner rotate around your head. When it does this, thousands of individual images will be captured and rendered together to create a detailed 3D blueprint of your entire facial structure. This will allow our dentists to view the location of your facial nerves and sinuses, density of your jawbone, and other important details with extreme clarity.
We typically utilize our CBCT scanner in the treatment planning portion of more advanced surgical procedures like dental implant placement and root canal treatment.
Digital Impressions

Instead of having to bite down on dental putty to capture an impression of your mouth, our team utilizes advanced digital impression technology. By waving a small wand around the mouth, our team is able to create a 3D, photorealistic digital blueprint of your dental structure that we can easily send over to our CEREC milling machine or an off-site dental laboratory. This allows for faster processing as well as more accurate and perfectly-fitting restorations and oral appliances.
Digital X-Rays

Our cutting-edge digital X-ray technology simplifies each of your bi-annual checkups by producing higher quality images in less time, all the while reducing your exposure to radiation. That means you spend less time in the office and your dental team has better tools to help craft the perfect treatment plan for your needs.
